STEAM Exploration Club
Starting Thursday, January 5th
For Students Grades Kindergarten – 3rd Thursday, January 5th, 4.30–6.00pm Do you have young students who are builders, artists, dreamers, or mess-makers? Then sign them up for our STEAM Exploration Club—an activity-based, hands-on program geared for kids from grades kindergarten through third who are excited to learn more about the world around them. Each week this program begins with a ten minute presentation from a different Scituate Scientist then breaks into several small groups to interact with the mentor-run hands-on Exploration Stations. All students who attend will have the opportunity to participate in the 5th Annual Scituate Science Spectacular on April 6th without having to create their own experiment. REGISTRATION is now open! This year’s 5th annual district-wide STEAM event will take place on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at Scituate High School. We’re looking forward to showcasing the amazing work of our students, teachers, volunteers and community members!
